Youth Group....Youth Group....YOUTH GROUP
So without me realizing it, our son, he turned into a 6th grader, which made him eligible to be in youth group! What?!?!
How is that possible because I was in youth group really not that long ago...
But, as I realize it has been over 20 years since I was in youth group, and come to grips that my son in old enough to be enjoying this part of life, I could not be more thankful for the church body that pours into our youth!
The family ministries at our church is amazing and our family pastor is fantastic!
So. Very. Thankful.
The first foray into youth group began with food, kickball, and of course ice blocking at the local park!
These kids have been going to church together since they were born and were actually all three dedicated on the same day in 2003!
May the Lord bless them as they grow in the understanding and knowledge of Him. May He save them at an early age and call them His own. May they become mighty warriors for Christ in the years to come!
